Abubakar is the Director Operations / Special Adviser to Pro-Chancellor of Skyline University Nigeria.

With over 15 years' experience as top management member of various firms in different parts of the world, Abubakar has developed a huge reputation as self-motivated and successful sales, business development, customer service, counseling and delivery management leader.

Since 2003 when he cut his teeth as Manager with Khalifa Intersystem Services, Internet Café and Publications in Kano, he has worked at Showtime in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Project Consultant) and University of Wollongong in Dubai (Student Recruitment Officer).

He later became University of Wollongong in Dubai Senior Student Recruitment Officer, the position he occupied till he joined Skyline University College also in UAE in 2013 as Senior Business Development Supervisor.

He also served as Manager Business Development at Skyline University College (SUC) where after establishing the African market, he successfully initiated and established the first private university in Kano (Skyline University Nigeria) with the support of Mr. Nitin Anand the COEC of Skyline University College (SUC) before he was elevated to his current position in January, 2018.

An excellent communicator, Abubakar's other areas of competence are strategic thinking and planning, service delivery/operation management and policy planning and implementation among others.
